Apecoin is Portable to Avalanche or Flow! Here’s Why

Yuga Labs, the firm behind the popular NFT collection Bored Ape Yacht Club, and ApeCoin DAO board members apecoin‘of EthereumIt’s in talks to move it from to another tier 1 project.

In Yuga Labs’ recent metaverse land sale, investors paid a combined transaction fee of more than $100 million, which set the project in motion.

Yuga Labs first came up with the idea of moving from Ethereum on May 1. After this sharing, the Apecoin community was also encouraged to move.

According to the information obtained by Coindesk, Yuga Labs and the ApeCoin DAO board of directors are considering two alternatives for carrying Apecoin.

Avalanche and Flow

One of them is Avalanche and the other is Flow.

At this point, it is among the sought-after features that the networks have high processing capability and can perform transactions without clogging.

It is prominent that Avalanche can overcome this problem thanks to subnets and that it will soon issue an incentive package of 290 million dollars to support subnets.

Ava Labs co-founder Kevin Sekniqi confirmed to Coindesk that they were meeting with Yuga and said;

“We’ve had some early conversations with Yuga about subnets, and we’re definitely ready to take action.

We all saw during the land sale that NFT projects of this size need a scalable environment.”

The other option proved its strength in Flow in a project with high transaction volumes such as NBA Top Shot.

Mik Naayem, chief executive of Dapper Labs, the company behind Flow, told Coindesk:

“We had some discussions with the board of ApeCoin DAO and I think it will result in a vote. I think Flow would be a great home for ApeCoin.”

For now, it is not known whether the idea of moving will remain at the stage of thought, but ApeCoin DAO members will make the final decision.
