Anti-Ethereum (ETH): Miners Should Not Be Victimized in Transitioning to PoS!

Ethereum (ETH) Miner Chandler Guo reiterated that he is insisting on asking for some kind of “hard fork” after ETH moves to the Proof of Stake mechanism next month.

Guo said he is struggling to find a way to save the miners from having to “stop their work”.

“Ethereum Miners Need to Be Considered”

This time the hard fork is much more difficult because it is necessary to organize a large number of miners to participate in this fork.

As it is known, ETH will switch from the Proof of Work mechanism, which requires a large amount of energy, to the much more energy-efficient Proof of Stake. The update is expected to happen around September 15-16, according to the developers.

Guo had been pushing for a fork for several weeks. In July “I forked Ethereum once, I will fork again!” he tweeted.

While the network is expected to reduce energy consumption by 99% once it becomes a proof-of-stake platform, Guo argues that miners should also be considered. “Many miners are suffering,” Guo said.

However, according to JPMorgan analysts, some miners, especially Ethereum Classic (ETC) miners can take advantage of Merge. It is believed that a large number of mining devices will be wasted thanks to the update.

Guo, who has supported the fork of Ethereum Classic in the past, summarizes; He argues that in the transition of ETH to the PoS system, a new coin should be issued as a hard fork and mining should continue by continuing the old system.
