Frankfurt The US pharmaceutical company Pfizer is raising hopes for a simple and highly effective therapy against Covid-19. According to new study data, the drug Paxlovid, which can be taken as a tablet, reduces the risk of severe disease and death in patients at increased risk by 89 percent, Pfizer announced on Friday morning.
