Google, which has been hit hard by Microsoft’s addition of ChatGPT support to the Bing browser, may be gaining a new competitor. Recent leaks on social media have revealed that Amazon wants to develop its own internet browser. Amazon web browser how is it going to be?
Amazon asks users for its web browser
Google Chrome has been popular among internet browsers for many years. However, according to a survey sent to some users, Amazon has started working on developing its own web browser. Considering the e-commerce giant’s wide range of users, this will be a remarkable project.
As part of the survey, Amazon questions what its users can expect in a new browser. Among the questions asked are features such as synchronization, privacy, shopping options, text-to-speech search, extensions and cookie blocking.
All of the questions asked within the scope of the survey are among the features expected to be included in a modern web browser. However, it should be noted that Amazon may also be working on a new feature for mobile applications.
This survey isn’t Amazon’s first project on web browsers. In 2011, the e-commerce giant focused on the company’s other products. Silk Browser put it on the market. This application, which is not a completely standalone browser, handled searches on e-commerce.
However, Amazon now Google Chrome and seems to be working on a full fledged alternative that will compete with other browsers. In this respect AWS, Prime and e-commerce considered to highlight its features.
