Which tech company will lead the AI segment in the future?

Frankfurt The artificial intelligence (AI) on which the new ChatGPT dialogue system is based is also stirring up the stock market. Because it has sparked a duel between the tech giants Alphabet and Microsoft, which are prominently represented in the portfolios of many investors.
Microsoft has invested $10 billion in OpenAI, the company that invented ChatGPT and released it in late November. The Google parent company Alphabet presented a similar technology at the beginning of February: the AI application Bard. However, Bard blundered and made a false statement in a presentation last Wednesday when the system was asked about astronomical telescopes. Alphabet subsequently lost around $170 billion in value within two days. The investors interpreted the blunder as a sign of the vulnerability of the system.
This shows that AI is a future topic on the markets with opportunities for investors, but there are also risks. And it is not yet clear: Who will lead the segment?
