Dusseldorf Few job offers, training at a distance: For a long time, the corona crisis had hit young professionals hard. But that picture now seems to be changing, as revealed by Indeed’s exclusive job data for Handelsblatt.
According to this, around 5,800 jobs for trainees, interns and students are currently advertised in DAX companies alone. This corresponds to more than every fifth advertised position in Dax companies. For comparison: In the autumn, when Indeed last collected the numbers, there were less than half as many vacant entry-level jobs.
“Whereas the start of a career in the past two years was associated with many hurdles, there now seem to be many opportunities to start your own career, at least in the top German companies,” says Annina Hering from the Indeed Hiring Lab.
