21Shares AG (“21Shares”), the world’s largest issuer of crypto exchange traded products (ETPs) and a subsidiary of 21.co, has launched the 21Shares Staking Basket Index ETP, the world’s first crypto staking index ETP offering diversified staking income. introduced.

The index represents the first basket of crypto assets to provide access to stake rewards while tracking the performance of underlying staked cryptos via a single ETP.

The 21Shares staking index methodology used for this product was created in collaboration with Swedish index provider Vinter.

The 21Shares Staking Basket Index ETP tracks Proof of Stake (PoS) cryptocurrencies, including Binance Coin, Cardano, Cosmos, Polkadot, Solana, and Tezos.

The index will be rebalanced semi-annually in March and September to reflect market changes.

“Staking is a longstanding feature of the blockchain ecosystem that allows crypto holders to earn rewards in exchange for locking their assets,” said Arthur Krause, ETP Product Director at 21Shares parent company 21.co.

The 21Shares Staking Basket Index ETP started trading on the BX Swiss exchange today and aims to be listed on the Xetra Deutsche exchange.

This launch follows the success of 21Shares’ current single-asset staking products 21Shares Solana Staking ETP and 21Shares Tezos Staking ETP.

Today’s announcement includes the world’s cheapest Bitcoin ETP (CBTC) as well as two risk-controlled products, the 21Shares S&P Risk-Controlled Bitcoin Index ETP (SPBTC) and the 21Shares S&P Risk-Controlled Ethereum Index ETP (SPETH). The year is the latest in a series of innovative ETPs offered by 21Shares.
