The 11th generation Honda Accord, which comes across with a much more sedate design than its predecessor, still manages to look sporty with its wide front grille and sharp lines. The new model, which draws attention with its thin LED headlights, hosts air intakes extending from side to side, which makes it look much wider.
When we move towards the rear section, we encounter a longer hood than the previous one. Accord, which has a simpler design in almost every section, proves this to us in the rear section as well. The new model welcomes us with its very simply designed LED taillights extending towards each other in the rear section. The spoiler integrated into the trunk lid contributes to the aerodynamics of the vehicle.

Although details about the vehicle will be revealed with the launch, Honda has shared many details. The new Honda Accord, which will say hello with 17-inch wheels as standard, will host black sporty details and 19-inch wheels in Sport equipment.
The wheelbase of the vehicle, which is 4,971 mm long, 1,862 mm wide and 1,450 mm high, is announced as 2,830 mm. The model, which is not at all small with its dimensions, also draws attention with its 69 mm longer structure than its predecessor.
Honda, which started simplification in design with the new Honda Civic, seems to have adopted this philosophy in Accord as well. The new philosophy of the Japanese manufacturer is also reflected in the interior of the vehicle. It is possible to see traces of the new Civic in the interior of the Accord. The new model hosts a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch infotainment system in its familiar cabin. It will also be possible to get the touch screen in the size of 12.2 on higher equipment.
When we take a look under the hood, which is the most curious, we see the 1.5-liter VTEC engine that has been used for a long time. We encounter a revised 1.5-liter four-cylinder power unit with the engine’s overhauled injection system, revamped active catalyst and stronger crankshaft. The renewed engine offers 195 horsepower and 260 Nm torque. This engine will continue to transmit its power with a CVT transmission.

On the other hand, we say goodbye to the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, which is not offered in our country with the new generation. Offering 256 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque, this engine has left its place to the hybrid power unit. The hybrid power unit, which has a 2.0-liter internal combustion engine, also hosts two electric motors. This unit can produce 207 horsepower and 335 Nm of torque.
The new Honda Accord also has important innovations on the security front. The new model features new driver and passenger front airbags designed to minimize the potential for brain trauma. In addition, while the angle of the camera that guides the vehicle’s security systems is increased, the blind spot system can now assist the driver up to 25 meters. In addition, the Adaptive Cruise Control system and Lane Keeping Assist system have been updated to provide more natural responses.
