After the largest BNB whale bought close to 140 billion SHIB tokens, the cryptocurrency has become the most frequently purchased asset by whales investing in BSC-based tokens, according to Whalestats.
According to analysis shared by the Twitter account of WhaleStats, a whale watching platform that provides data on the top 1,000 richest Binance Smart Chain (BSC) whales, a BNB whale listed at #1 by this data service on Feb. Shiba Inu (SHIB) he bought.
Following this massive acquisition, SHIB has become the most frequently purchased cryptocurrency by the top 1000 BSC-based cryptocurrency investors.
140 million purchases received from just one whale
A recent tweet by WhaleStatsBSC shows that the top BNB whale bought 139,929,254,883 Shiba Inu at the time of the transaction, which is equivalent to $4,232,859 in fiat currency.

Shiba becomes the most frequently bought crypto by BSC whales
In yet another recent tweet, WhaleStats shared a list of the 10 most purchased cryptocurrencies by the 1,000 largest Binance Smart Chain (BSC) whales following this massive transaction. SHIB ranked first on this list. The second largest meme coin, stablecoins USDT, took second and third place, trailing USDC. Bitcoin BEP (BTC) Cryptocurrency was the fourth most actively bought by deep-pocketed whales, with BNB at fifth and ETH at tenth.

Also, according to another listing posted on the analytics platform’s website, BNB whales’ favorite meme coin, Dogecoin, has become the tenth largest cryptocurrency held by these whales.
SHIB is still the largest position in terms of USD value
Also referring to whales who prefer ETH and ERC-20 tokens over BSC, WhaleStats reported that SHIB has become the largest token held by 1,000 major Ethereum whales in terms of USD value.
These wallets currently hold 54,640,355,419,904 SHIBs worth an estimated $1,644,124,744, making up 16.88 percent of the gigantic whales’ portfolios.
Among these wallets, LINK is the most traded token, while UNI is the most owned token.
