The Ministry announced that a one-time 5 TL coin was printed. 100 million pieces of 5 TL commemorative coins, which will be put into circulation on Sunday, October 29, 2023, were printed. The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the features of the commemorative money in circulation.

100th Anniversary themed 5 TL Commemorative Coin in circulation; The “Türkiye Century” logo is used on the inner core. There is the phrase “5” above the logo and the phrase “TURKISH LIRA” below it. Depth is added by using the eight-pointed “Seljuk Star” motif on the outer ring and the repetition of the outlines of this motif.
There are “₺” symbols on the left and “TC” symbols on the right of the Seljuk star on the outer ring as a security element. At the bottom is the year of publication “2023”. The crescent and star are positioned at the intersection of the outer ring and the hub. The weight of the coin is 8.25 grams and its diameter is 28.15 millimeters.
