Rippleto developers 1 billion XRP promised to distribute The commitment to encourage developers to continually create projects on the XRP Ledger comes as a result of popular blockchain payments company Ripple’s aim to grow the XRP ecosystem.
Currently, the market value of the tokens in question is approximately $789 million. According to a report on the subject, Ripple Fully distribute funds to developers in 10 to 20 yearsis planning.
The company, which has taken similar steps to expand the XRP community and ecosystem before, recently gave $2 million to around 25 developers built on XRP Ledger – in October 2021.
This most recently announced developer grant is the company’s director of developer relations. Matt HamiltonIt came after ‘officially announced that he was leaving Ripple.
Explaining that he had a difficult year due to his wife’s illness and therefore had to leave the company, Hamilton had worked with world giant companies such as IBM and HP before joining Ripple in January 2021. He represented Ripple on various platforms and assisted the company in creating various grant programs. The value of Hamilton to the company was once again proven with the grant program initiated by Ripple.
