Compared to Spotify and Apple Music, YouTube Music, which is new among music services, serves millions of users. There are still some missing points in the application, which constantly offers new features to its user base.
One of the most missing features was the inability to easily add songs to the playlist. The new feature, which was previously seen on the website, is finally being added to the application.
Tracks can be added directly to playlists on YouTube Music
If you want to add a song to your playlist in YouTube Music’s mobile applications, you must first open the playlist and add it from that page. This is a waste of time in itself, and while Spotify does not have this situation that kills the user experience, YouTube Music does. With the new update to YouTube Music, this dead experience is a thing of the past.
Although not yet available for everyone, the feature that adds tracks directly to the playlist, utgulamads, has appeared. Here are the screenshots from lucky people who tried the feature early:
If you want to be one of the first to try this practical innovation, you can try to join YouTube Music’s beta program. Even if you are in beta, there is no guarantee that the feature will appear to you. But if you want to try this little innovation, you should be among the lucky ones.
Even though this simple but important feature is coming late to the app, it’s good to see. What are you thinking?
