Apple’s annual and highly anticipated WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) event has arrived. The conference, where the company came together with developers from all over the world, also witnessed the introductions of new versions of software such as iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS.

Some features of iOS 16:

-Wallpapers with widget-like features
-Lock screen customization
-Social network-like functionality to messages
-New Health features

iPadOS 16 is getting closer to macOS

With the M1 processor family, the iPad family has reached a level that can compete with laptop computers. iPad models that receive the update will have more personalization options thanks to iPadOS 16.

With the iPadOS 16 update, the Apple ecosystem has become even stronger. Thanks to iPadOS 16, users will be able to share tabs on FaceTime and see which tabs people are looking at in the tab bar.

macOS Ventura introduced

Apple introduced the new macOS version at the WWDC event. Stage Manager feature stands out first in macOS Ventura. This feature will help users manage all windows. In addition, actively used apps and other apps are separated sharply.

The Stage Manager feature focuses on not distracting users. The used application is clearly visible in the middle, while the unused applications are placed on the side. Also, macOS Ventura introduced the Spotlight feature.

New capabilities with watchOS 9

Apple first introduced four different new watch faces. These dials are named as Moon, Playtime, Metropolitan and Astronomy. Apple will offer more personalization options with dials with different styles.

In the new watchOS, Apple also introduces innovations such as personalized spatial sound, quick memo, ‘Quick Security Response’ mechanism for updates, and memoji customizations.

2022 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with M2 processors

Announced with WWDC 2022, the first noticeable change of the new MacBook was on the design side. Similar to the 2021 MacBook Pro 14-inch and MacBook Pro 16-inch, the new Air features a notched display with thinner bezels.

The MacBook Air 2022 display comes as Liquid Retina. This will provide a noticeable increase in brightness and colors compared to previous models. It features a screen size of 13.6 inches. The screen, which is 500 nits and 25 percent brighter than its predecessor, offers 1 billion colors.
