Wolfsburg Herbert Diess actually didn’t want to be in Wolfsburg that Thursday. The VW boss had planned a trip to the USA to meet investors there. But the works council protested sharply, accusing Diess of lack of interest in his own workforce. Now the CEO is not staying in the sunny southwest of America, but meets angry band workers in rainy Wolfsburg. In Hall 11 in the main VW plant you will find the “Workforce information of the works council” It is a settlement with Diess.
