Togg C-SUV exceeds 1 million 500 thousand TL
In electric cars, a 10% tax was applied to vehicles with a power below 160 kW and a net price of not more than 700 thousand TL. With the decision taken today, the tax base has been increased to 1 million 250 thousand TL. On the other hand, SCT will be applied at a rate of 40 percent for vehicles with a power of more than 160 kW and a net price of more than 1 million 250 thousand TL.
For vehicles with engine power over 160 kW, the 50 percent SCT limit was increased from 750 thousand liras to 1 million 350 thousand liras. For vehicles whose price exceeds 1 million 350 thousand TL, the SCT will be applied as 60 percent. With the new update, there will be a discount in the price of cars whose base limits have changed after the increase in exchange rates.

Additional customs duty was determined for electric vehicles originating in China in the application of Additional Customs Duty on Imports.
Experts state that this base update was made for Togg, which is expected to be released this month. The new base update also includes hints about the Togg price. With the new update, the net price of the vehicle is predicted to be 1 million 250 thousand TL, while the sales price of Togg is expected to be 1 million 622 thousand liras with 10 percent SCT and 18 percent VAT.

Considering that Togg will be kept at a minimum SCT rate, it seems quite possible that the price will be around 1 million 600 thousand TL.
