We have left the pandemic period behind. Although the necessary precautions continue to be taken in health institutions, most of the people have been vaccinated or survived the disease. In fact, the masks that we were used to living together for a while no longer come to our minds.
However, we still have in mind the criminal actions applied because of the mask. Because in the past period, many issues such as the legality or cancellation of these penalties have come to the fore. That’s why millions of people haven’t paid the fine yet.
Tomorrow, it is stated that the AK Party, that is the government, will bring a bag of 90-item bills to the Parliament. Among them, there are some suggestions regarding the sanctions applied against those who do not comply with the rules during the pandemic period. The most notable among these is the mask penalty.
It was demanded that these fines imposed on those who did not wear masks during the closures or who did not comply with the rules of open-closed areas should be deleted. At the moment, it seems that all members of the Turkish Grand National Assembly are looking at this issue warmly. In other words, it is expected that the decision will be passed as a result of the voting tomorrow. Therefore, if you have not paid your fine yet, it would be beneficial to wait 1 more day.
