Dusseldorf Two weeks ago, the drugstore chain Müller and its previous boss Günther Helm separated. According to information from the Handelsblatt, company owner Erwin Müller intervened at the beginning of the year. “In January 2022, the Müller company had a significant drop in earnings compared to the previous year. So I pulled the emergency brake and took the lead again,” Müller told Handelsblatt.
According to Müller, at least the sales development should have already stabilized: “In July 2022 we were generating the usual income again, with a significant increase.” At this point in time, however, a trusting cooperation with his current CEO was apparently no longer possible. He then agreed on an amicable separation with Helm, according to Müller. Helm declined to comment on his departure.
