Berlin The Russian military leadership has to face up to reality: In response to the advance of the Ukrainian troops, the navy moved four of its submarines from the port of Sevastopol in Crimea to the port of Novorossiysk, which is further away. This was reported by the British Ministry of Defense on Tuesday.

With the offensive in the Kherson region, the Ukrainian army is also getting closer to Crimea and could soon reach Sevastopol with drones, explained naval analyst HI Sutton. The rocket launchers supplied from the West, with which Kyiv has already dealt the Russians serious blows, could soon hit Crimea.

Admittedly, Ukraine’s advance is currently slower than it was a week ago, when Ukraine liberated 8,000 square kilometers of its territory within a few days. The army must secure areas and reorganize supply lines.
