It would only last weeks, maybe a few months, it was said before this war, which is now celebrating its first anniversary. The situation in Ukraine seemed so hopeless in view of Russia’s military superiority. And one does not want to imagine the situation Europe would be in now if it had actually happened that way.

There would be talk of strong dictatorships and weak democracies all over the world. At least Moldova, but probably also the Baltic states or even Poland, should be concerned about where the imperialist and revisionist ambitions of the warlord in the Kremlin might end up.
