Dusseldorf A good 20,000 positions were last advertised in Germany’s most important listed companies. A current survey by the Handelsblatt among Dax companies now suggests that the number of jobs to be offered should continue to rise by the middle of the decade.
The car manufacturer Volkswagen is planning to create around 2000 jobs in the digital sector by 2023 alone. Daimler wants to create new jobs in connection with its new MBOS 3000 operating system, 1000 of them at the Sindelfingen location.
Other corporations are also upgrading their personnel. The Göttingen-based pharmaceutical supplier Sartorius plans to take on around 1,000 new colleagues every year by 2025 – a considerable number with a workforce of around 13,000.
The Berlin cooking box group Hellofresh wants to grow at a similarly strong rate. 1000 new positions are to be advertised here by the end of 2022. Hellofresh currently employs around 6500 people. Most of the positions currently advertised on the company website are in the area of supply chain management and operations.
