Famous restaurant chain White Castle stepped into the world of crypto money! White Castle, which changed its Twitter profile to “Seahams” NFT, announced that it has registered a new domain name (whitecastleofficial.eth.) with the Ethereum Name Service (ENS).
With White Castle being the latest to attend the Web3 Blockchain event, the list of name brands entering crypto has grown even larger.
This year, many famous brands -Gucci, Coca-Cola, Ubisoft etc.- entered NFTs and the metaverse sector. Investment bank Jefferies predicts the “metaverse” will be the biggest disruption to our way of life ever. Institutions and retail traders are expressing their excitement about the issue. Just last week, NFT sales reached US$293 million.
Shortly after White Castle announced its move into crypto, ENS chief operating officer Brantly Millegan tweeted his surprise over the matter, announcing that he would go and buy some White Castle as soon as possible.
