Where did the energy crisis suddenly come from?

Dusseldorf Electricity, gas and oil are becoming significantly more expensive – and not just in Europe, but all over the world. The energy crisis does not only affect us individually. Companies, infrastructure, financial markets and our economic system as a whole are also affected. But what are the causes of the sudden crisis? For example, what are the links between problems in Europe, China and India?

In order to answer these questions, the energy expert Tobias Federico is a guest of “Handelsblatt Green” in this episode. He is the founder of EnergyBrainpool, a consulting and market research company specializing in electricity and energy trading in Europe.

In addition, Handelsblatt correspondents from China, India and Great Britain report on how the energy crisis is already affecting local life.
