This week, WhatsApp launched the browser extension ‘Code Verify’, which it developed to increase the security of users of the messaging service from the computer. While the company affiliated with Meta continues to update its mobile applications without slowing down, it has made an important change for iPhone users.
Known for revealing future updates to WhatsApp, WABetaInfo shared the details of the WhatsApp beta version 22.6.0.73 released for iOS. With this version, while changing the application profile page, it also voice / video call, message and increased the size of similar buttons.
WhatsApp profile page has a new look
On the new profile page, there is the profile photo at the top, and the phone number written in bold and large font below it. Next voice call, video call and find in chat buttons are coming and the user’s information about me appears in a separate section. Previously, these four parts were all in the same place.
The exact same interface came to business accounts using the WhatsApp Business application in August. Finally, WhatsApp, which has decided to bring it to personal accounts, has made the update available for iOS in the 22.6.0.73 beta version. In addition, according to the sharing of WABetaInfo, some users who do not use beta also got the new interface.
WhatsApp recently fixed an issue that caused the app to crash and chat names to appear garbled. The company continues to develop its Android and iOS applications by regularly updating them.
