What would the movie have been like if Chadwick Boseman hadn’t died?

Chadwick Boseman, who won the love of everyone with his role as Black Panther, unfortunately succumbed to colon cancer and said goodbye to us in 2020. Boseman, who mourned everyone with his death, could not start the shooting of the movie, although he received the script of the second Black Panther movie. So what would the second Black Panther movie with Chadwick Boseman be like?

Black Panther and his son were going on a big adventure.

Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and co-screenwriter Joe Robert Cole shared the answer to this question in an interview with The New York Times. Accordingly, the draft of the script, which was completed before the actor’s death in 2020, focused on the king and his young son.

The script originally conceived was definitely a far cry from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The movie starring Chadwick Boseman began with the remarriage of Nakia and her son Toussaint, who thought that Thanos had completely lost T’Challa, who disappeared after capturing the infinity stones.

But with Black Panther returning from Blip, the second movie would focus on the summer the father and son spend together. Going to perform a ritual in the woods to celebrate his son’s eighth birthday, our lead roles will encounter danger and T’Challa will have to save the world with his son.

Namor, the king of the submarine, would be involved again as the movie was released, and CIA director Val, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, would appear again in an important role. And according to the director, there would be some very impressive scenes of Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther in the second movie.
