Today is another Saturday. “Wetten, dass ..?” Is back. With Thomas Gottschalk (71). A day on which the time is turned back just in time for prime time at 8.15 p.m.

The show titan who remains “Thommy”: He will go down a flight of stairs. He’ll be wearing clothes that Granny got upset about. Maybe silver-studded cowboy boots. The curls: flooded with gold from the spotlight of a bygone television world.
Gottschalk will greet everyone with outspread arms, “Germany, Austria and Switzerland” and perhaps out of a new political correctness – “No food. It doesn’t matter ”. Then the boss of the evening in the first row will grin at the wife of a Nuremberg district administrator and greet them personally. Surname? “Wurscht.” “Good evening, Nuremberg.” Nothing wrong with that.
Thommy is now at an age where you can do something wrong. “There is a certain sobriety there,” he says himself. All the same. Markus Söder (54) will not be there. The CSU boss has waived the show in a large group because of Corona. “Doesn’t matter.”

The memory made it more beautiful. Like many things when looking back to the 80s and 90s. Back to Playmobil and Game Boy.
