new York Cuy Sheffeild has long been the “annoying crypto guy”. The manager has made it his business to get Visa to enter the crypto world. He kept pestering colleagues to find the right ways and concepts.

Today he has overcome all resistance and, as the crypto boss of the credit card company, is leading a large-scale initiative. Sheffield sees great potential in NFTs. These are digital certificates of authenticity that are mapped on the blockchain and are currently turning the digital art world upside down. Sheffield is convinced that this is just the beginning.

“NFTs can play a role in many areas, in emerging social media, but also in concert tickets and in sports, when it comes to collectibles and connecting fans,” says Sheffield. “For us it looks as if the new generation of e-commerce could emerge here.”
