new York Warren Buffett has surprisingly reduced his stake in Taiwanese chipmaker TSMC. This emerges from a mandatory notification to the stock exchange supervisory authority. The sell-off put TSMC stock under pressure, which was down as much as 3.6 percent in Taipei trading.
The CEO of Berkshire Hathaway only bought the shares in the chip manufacturer from Taiwan in the third quarter. It was the 10th largest position in his portfolio, the position was originally valued at $4.1 billion. Now he still holds a good 15 percent of it.
