Voice and Video Calls Coming to Twitter!

Twitter employee Andrea Conway announced that voice and video calling feature will come to the platform. Calls that are uncertain when they will arrive will be able to be made from the messages section.

It has been announced that Twitter, which has been on the agenda with the restrictions it has brought in recent days, is working on a brand new feature. Andrea Conway, who works as a designer at Twitter, announced the feature that will come in a future update.

The new feature will allow searching from Twitter. Users, coming soon both video and audio calling from the platform they will be able to do.

Conway posted a video on his official account. in the tweet your feature screenshot shared; but he declined to give any details. Still, the image provided information on the interface and how the feature would work.

From the sharing, we can see that the calls will be used from the messages section of the application. The screenshot also shows the major changes in the current DM section. For example, the search icon with the “Voice call” and “Video call” options, next to the information section at the top right added. Also in the bottom left is a “plusWe see that the ” icon will also be added. According to the information received, functions such as accessing the gallery and adding GIFs will be handled from here.

There is no information about the arrival date of the video and voice calling feature. Also, we don’t know if it will come to everyone. The platform was able to bring some of its features only for its paid subscribers. Therefore, calls are likely to come to Blue subscribers as well.
