All states in the US are stopping Exposure Notifications!

Thanks to the Exposure Notification / Exposure Notifications or contact person detection application, which was developed by Apple and Google during the pandemic period, people who were detected to have Corona were followed under a confidentiality agreement.

For example, if people who are not allowed to stay or go out because they are sick, go out of their restricted areas to go to the market, work or for a walk, they are notified by the application to return to their homes.

At the same time, healthy individuals were also warned by this application if they were in contact during the day, that is, if they crossed paths with someone who was found to be carrying the Covid-19 virus or were exposed to the disease, and were told to go to the hospital for testing. In other words, its working logic is similar to the Hayat Eve Sığar application developed and used by the Ministry of Health in Turkey.

But we have left the pandemic period behind. For this reason, many states in the USA have begun to announce that they are shutting down the Exposure Notifications/ Exposure Notification application alternately every other day. For this reason, citizens living in the relevant region received notifications stating that the application no longer works and that they are not monitored.

Many welcomed this situation as they saw it as the end of the pandemic. Some people think that it is still early to close the application because they believe that the process is still ongoing.

However, there is a third group that is not aware of the fact that they are being followed, even for health reasons, and learns about the situation through this notification. In general, he thinks that the pandemic ended long ago and the state is watching them by turning this situation into an opportunity.

Of course, in any case, the practice was closed first in Virginia, then in states such as Washington and Hawaii, and today in California. It is expected that all nationwide access will end in a short time and the application will take its place on the dusty shelves of history.
