US Company Returned to Cryptocurrencies After 6 Years!

According to Blockkworks, the US-based global payment company Stripe It will start accepting cryptocurrency payments again after about 6 years.

At this point, the company will accept cryptocurrency payments, starting with stablecoins this summer. At this point, Stripe said it will start accepting cryptocurrency payments via USDC on Solana, Ethereum, and Polygon.

Speaking at the company’s Global Internet Economy conference, Stripe president John Collison announced that it will begin allowing cryptocurrency payments.

“We’re excited to announce that we’re bringing back crypto as a way to accept payments, but this time with a much better experience.

Crypto is finding real utility. “As transaction speeds increase and costs decrease, we see cryptocurrency finally making sense as a medium of exchange.”

Stripe ended Bitcoin (BTC) support in 2018.
