Samsung, which brought 7 years of update support to the recently introduced Galaxy S24 series, has now announced the devices for which it has discontinued update support. According to the statement, four devices will no longer receive updates.
The phone that attracts the most attention among these devices is Galaxy A51. A51 LTE, which is a popular model in Turkey, no longer has update support. However, A51 5G will continue to receive updates. So only the 4G version is completed.
The devices for which Samsung has stopped updating support are as follows:
- Galaxy A01
- Galaxy A51 LTE (update will continue in 5G version)
- Galaxy Tab S6 5G
- Galaxy W20 5G
Among the devices, we see the budget-friendly phone A01 and the tablet Tab S6 5G. We should point out that the Galaxy W20 is the Chinese version of the Z Fold 2. Although support for W20 will be discontinued, the Z Fold 2 will continue to receive updates in the rest of the world.
