Quota limit for IBB free Wi-Fi has been removed!

There has been a significant development in the free Wi-Fi service launched by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Electronic Systems Directorate in 2014. So much so that the quota limit given to users has been removed. Here are the details…

The free Wi-Fi service offered by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) at various points of the city provided users with up to 60 GB of internet access. While this was deemed sufficient for browsing social media or doing research, some users found this limit inadequate. Fortunately, IMM took the expected step.

IMM announced that it has removed the 60 GB quota in free Wi-Fi service. Accordingly, citizens living in Istanbul will now be able to use the internet unlimitedly. So how to use IBB free Wi-Fi? Let’s move on to what you need to do step by step.
