According to the news of The Telegraph, one of the respected newspapers of the UK, UK citizens will be able to buy crypto money through the EasyID application of the Post Office, which has more than 10 million users.
It is stated that starting next week, the EasyID application will offer access to Swarm Markets. Swarm Markets is an exchange platform that connects buyers and sellers, including cryptocurrencies.
By verifying their identity, users will be able to purchase coupons for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum by entering Swarm’s website. The post office will not take commission from the coupons, and according to the news, EasyID usage fees will be covered by Swarm Markets.
Some experts expressed surprise at this move of the Post Office due to the volatility in cryptocurrencies.
