Twitch will share the information of users who have been banned!

Twitch is one of the most popular live streaming platforms. Streamers can earn money by playing games or displaying their different skills on Twitch. On the platform, where viewers can also interact with the broadcaster, the result of negative behaviors is a ban. Twitch now brings another important innovation to broadcasters.

Twitch steps up security measures

The famous live streaming platform offers a new security tool that allows broadcasters to share information about users they have banned from their chats. With the system called Shared Ban Info, publishers can collaborate to protect their communities from malicious people.

New details emerged about the Twitch operation that shook the Turkish agenda. Here are the highlights…

Twitch gave information about how the Shared Ban Info application will work. Accordingly, publishers must create a share request in their broadcasts to participate in this program. You can request to share the ban information with other streamers, channels or co-followers.

After this request is accepted, when a user is banned, the messages of that user are marked on other channels with the help of Shared Ban Info, allowing mods or broadcasters to easily watch them.

Users banned on one channel will be automatically restricted from chatting on another channel. Broadcasters will have to change their settings to allow that user to chat normally. However, the warning information on these people will always be permanent. Streamers will also be able to opt out of the Share Ban Info program at any time.

Shared Ban Info is one of Twitch’s new applications for the safety of its users. The Shared Ban Information program will work as an extension of the Ban Evasion Detection Tool, launched in November, which uses artificial intelligence to catch people fleeing bans.

With the new measures, it is aimed to provide a healthier broadcast environment on Twitch. So what do you think about Twitch broadcasts and these measures taken? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
