2024 - Turkey's cheapest: Leapmotor T03 goes on sale "with a price increase"!

The electric transformation of the automotive industry continues at a rapid pace. At the same time, the number of electric vehicles entering the Turkish domestic market is increasing day by day. Finally, tomorrow, Turkey’s cheapest electric car Leapmotor T03 will go on sale. But the price went up before it even came out.

Leapmotor T03 goes on sale “with a price increase”!

Founded 7 years ago in China and opened to the global market in a short time, Leapmotor brought the small-sized T03 model, which was first offered for sale in 2020 and preferred by people especially in urban transportation, to Turkey.

Although an additional 40 percent customs tax (54 percent in total) has been imposed on electric cars imported from China in the past months, Leapmotor T03 It is preparing to go on sale as Turkey’s cheapest electric car. But before it even came out, the price went up.

Will the domestic electric tractor prototype produced by ZY Teknoloji be able to start mass production in 2023?

It was announced that it will be sold for 699 thousand TL with the launch special price first, and then there will be a price tag of 749 thousand TL. However, the launch price of the vehicle, which will be on sale tomorrow, has been updated as 799 thousand TL as of today. Afterwards, it will continue to be sold with a price tag of 849 thousand TL.

Although it is the cheapest electric car in Turkey, let’s say that if there were no additional customs tax for those who find this price high, it will be opened for pre-order at 538 thousand TL and then it will be sold for 588 thousand TL.
