2024 - Turkey's 2 new domestic electric cars were introduced! Moreover, it is half the price of Togg

There has been an important development in Turkey’s new domestic electric car industry. Agrotech company took a remarkable step in the automotive industry by purchasing 75 percent of the shares of Joyce Electric Vehicle Technologies. With this acquisition, it was announced that Turkey will produce electric vehicles with 100 percent domestically produced engines, batteries and electronic systems.

These new domestic electric vehicles, developed by Joyce Electric Vehicle Technologies, will be launched on October 29. The sedan model will be offered for sale with a price tag of 699 thousand TL and the commercial model with a price tag of 1 million 199 thousand TL. The factory, which will have an annual production capacity of 200 thousand units, will be established in Tekirdağ.
