Turkey sold Hürkuş-C to the Libyan government!

The foundations of the Hürkuş project, developed by TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries), date back to 2006. Although it was initially launched under the name of ‘Turkish Initial and Basic Trainer Project’, we know from the ‘Next Generation Light Attack/Reconnaissance Aircraft’ Hürkuş-C that this aircraft can do much more. Finally, the Libyan government, sharing its social media accounts today, said that the signatures for Hürkuş-C were signed with TAI.

Turkey sold Hürkuş-C to the Libyan government!

Turkey has been one of the few countries that stood against the coup staged by Khalifa Haftar in Libya in recent years. Moreover, thanks to the logistics and Bayraktar TB2 SİHA support, it played the most critical role in helping the current government stand on its feet and repel Haftar’s army.

Turkey is buying the world-famous jet aircraft manufacturer!

TAI and a group of Turkish businessmen started negotiations to acquire the US business jet manufacturer SyberJet Aircraft.

In addition, the official recognition of the borders of the Blue Homeland by the Libyan government has made a big impact in favor of Turkey all over the world. Now, with the agreement, we see that the cooperation between the two countries is getting closer and closer.

HÜRKUŞ HYEU will be the first aircraft pilots board before using jets such as the F16 and F4. Many people may be mistaken about the capabilities of this aircraft, since its design resembles 20th century airplanes when viewed from the outside.

But when we go inside, we see many of the technologies found in the F-16s and F-35s, from next-generation radars to pilot control systems. In particular, the aircraft, called HÜRKUŞ-C, can be used for light attack and reconnaissance purposes instead of jet aircraft. Since the ammunition it carries on it is very similar to those used in SİHAs and jets, it will not lose any in terms of effectiveness.
