The countdown has begun for the domestic car. Turkey’s Automobile Initiative Group (Togg) will unload its first mass-produced vehicle in the last quarter of this year and will put it on sale commercially in the first quarter of 2023. In addition, the company continues to cooperate with new platforms to provide a better and comprehensive service to users. Recently, the manufacturer signed a strategic cooperation with Paycell to integrate payment systems and digital financial solutions into the mobility ecosystem.
Strategic cooperation between Togg and Paycell
Togg, which is now counting down for the domestic automobile, has recently officially announced that it has cooperated with one of its founding partners, Turkcell’s payment platform Paycell. In this context, the partnership will play a critical role in integrating innovative payment systems and digital financial solutions into the Togg mobility ecosystem.
The following statements were used in Togg’s statement on the subject from his social media accounts;
“We signed a strategic cooperation with Paycell, one of our founding partners, Turkcell’s new generation payment platform, to integrate innovative payment systems and digital financial solutions into our mobility ecosystem.”

This collaboration brought to mind a statement made by Togg CEO Gürcan Karakaş in June. Karakaş said that they would not be a company that only produced cars at that time, and expressed that they wanted to establish a very comprehensive mobility ecosystem.
The most striking point in the statement of Togg CEO was the statement that his first products would not be automobiles. Emphasizing a technology service to be developed with Startups here, the businessman stated that they have met with 236 Startups so far, they have done more than 30 trial studies and they have agreed with more than 15.
