Tinder sues Apple for “monopolistic behavior”
Apple has faced multiple antitrust lawsuits, be it the Apple Store or its policy on third-party apps. Finally, Tinder’s parent company, Match Group, accuses Apple of “monopolistic behavior”, forcing it to pay high commissions for in-app purchases.

Tinder has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Apple company in India. So much so that Tinder plans to take a break from its relations with Apple due to the lawsuit. Thus, Apple may not appear in the App Store in certain regions. However, the company has not yet made such a statement.
Apple was sued earlier this year with the Dutch competition regulator, the Consumers and Markets Authority (ACM), for the same reason. Apple was fined $55 million by the ACM in May for its behavior in its plan to allow dating apps in the App Store to use in-app purchases.
On the other hand, Elon Musk, one of the most popular people in the world, also filed major accusations against Apple in May. He stated that the 30 percent commission cut by the App Store from the developers was definitely not in good faith, and that the company made 10 times more profit than it should have. Additionally, Tinder may seek middle ground in its litigation process with Apple.
