Berlin Mr. Silberbach, you are calling for 10.5 percent more money for federal and local employees. If you include the minimum amount of 500 euros, the average is 15 percent. Are you deserted by all good spirits?
The cost of living has increased dramatically and the majority of employees work in the lower and middle service. There is no payment like with state secretaries. However, our demand was also a steep lead for the new basic allowance to increase the standard rates for basic security by eleven percent. So that we don’t misunderstand each other, the increase is justified, but also for our people.
