There are different entry restrictions in the ski areas around Germany.

Berlin For most snow fans, the last two years have been characterized by sacrifice. First Ischgl fear, then only tobogganing on the mountain in the area. Despite the Omicron variant, which is driving up the corona numbers in countries with winter sports tourism, skis and snowboards can be used again.

But depending on where you travel, you still have to be prepared for a different experience in the snow. And of course don’t forget your vaccination card! Here is an overview of the country-specific rules.

Austria: 2G+ should prevent a second Ischgl

Austria tightened the rules again at the end of last year. 2G+ applies to entry from Germany. In addition to proof of vaccination or recovery, a PCR test result that is not older than 72 hours must be carried along.
