Police and fire brigade rush to the crime scene. But the perpetrators have already disappeared. The search for them has so far been unsuccessful. It is still unclear whether they made any prey.
Fire brigade head of operations Guido: Hübschen: “We are on site with 30 emergency services from the extinguishing district Mitte, ensure fire protection and illuminate the scene.”
Because the automatic sprinklers – unlike most of their “colleagues” – used solid explosives such as TNT full of gas, Lindenstrasse was cordoned off. Officials of the crime scene group and explosives experts first had to investigate whether there was still a risk of explosion Wadgasser through town in the morning rush hour.
Solid explosives, although difficult to obtain, are popular again with machine sprinklers because many ATMs are now secured against the introduction of gas. However, amateurs rarely have access to the coveted material. Therefore, the police suspect professional criminal organizations behind the crimes, checking whether the three cases last week are related.
