These rules now apply in Europe

Zurich, Brussels, Athens, Vienna, Madrid, Rome Portugal, Ireland and Italy currently also oblige vaccinated persons to present a negative corona test upon entry. This caused disputes at the EU summit – after all, EU neighbors fear that the measure will reduce the incentive for vaccine skeptics to get vaccinated.

And although Brussels is striving for uniform travel rules, the heads of state and government were unable to agree on uniform entry rules for vaccinated people last Thursday.

So traveling remains complicated even in the second Corona winter – although the majority of Europeans are now vaccinated. This applies both within the European Union and in neighboring EU countries, to which Germans have always been able to travel without complications.
