Binance has opened transactions for these altcoin projects
In a move sensitive to user feedback and in an effort to address community concerns, Binance, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced plans to temporarily reopen withdrawals for 12 delisted tokens. These coins are as follows:
- 1.Aion (AION)
- 2. Beam
- 3. Bitcoin Diamond (BCD)
- 4. GoChain (GO)
- 5. Neblio (NEBL)
- 6. Nebulas (NAS)
- 7. Neutrino Token (NSBT)
- 8. Nexus (NXS)
- 9. Viacoin (VIA)
- 10. Skycoin (SKY)
- 11. Songbird (SGB)
- 12. YOYOW
It is very important for users to note that after 23:59 (UTC) on December 25, 2023, withdrawals for these delisted tokens will no longer be supported. However, users will still be able to check their remaining token balance from their Binance wallet.
USDT conversion is also on the agenda
In another development, Binance will conduct a conversion of BEAM, BCD, GO, NEBL, NAS, NSBT and SGB tokens to USDT at 00:00 (UTC) on December 26, 2023, based on users’ holdings in their Binance wallets. The exchange plans to exchange these seven tokens for an equivalent amount of USDT by 23:59 (UTC) on June 25, 2024. This conversion will be carried out using the average token USDT exchange rate for the period between 00:00 (UTC) on December 26, 2023 and 23:59 (UTC) on June 25, 2024, referred to as the “Conversion Period”.
Binance assures users that they will update the announcement once the conversion is complete and send a separate email to affected users. The email will also contain detailed information about average exchange rates during the Conversion Period. Important dates and details to remember:
- Users who hold any of the specified tokens will receive an email notification by 23:59 (UTC) on December 12, 2023.
- Deposits for those tokens are no longer supported and will not be credited to users’ accounts.
- Withdrawals from Binance for listed tokens will be supported until 23:59 (UTC) on December 25, 2023, subject to network conditions and availability.
- Binance will not perform conversion to USDT for AION, NXS, VIA, SKY and YOYO. After 23:59 (UTC), December 25, 2023, withdrawals and conversions for these tokens will no longer be possible.
