There Might Be an Outage in the Shibarium Network: Here are the Latest Developments!

Shiba Inu Shibarium, a layer-2 solution, suffered an outage according to a recent post by developer Kaal Dhairya on social media platform X.

Dhairya stated that the outage was caused by problems between validators on the network.

According to the press release, the network is now back up and running. However, as Dhairya puts it, Shibarium Shibariumscam, the popular website that tracks the health of the network, and external remote procedure calls (RPCs) may still be down because the team is dealing with external matters.

External teams working on Shibarium at an infrastructure level were encouraged to contact Dhairya regarding the recent technical issue.

Shibarium launched in August and is no stranger to encountering technical difficulties. As reported by U.Today, its debut ran into technical issues.

However, according to the data provided by Shibariumscam, the network is quite successful. Currently, the Shibarium blockchain has surpassed 400 million transactions and the number of wallets is approaching 1.7 million. Nearly one million transactions were recorded on April 15. However, on April 21, the number of transactions dropped to just 10,040.

As we report, the popular meme coin has recently experienced a double-digit price rally along with other joke cryptocurrencies, such as Solana-based Bonk (BONK).

According to CoinGecko data, the price of Shiba Inu (SHIB) has fallen 1.8% in the last 24 hours. It’s unclear whether this small decline is related to profit taking or Shibarium’s recent technical glitches.
