Frankfurt No Tesla showdown in court: The water supply of the Gigafactory in Grünheide does not depend on the eagerly awaited judgment of the Frankfurt (Oder) administrative court on the Eggersdorf waterworks. This is at least indicated by a preliminary decision by the judges, with which Economics Minister Jörg Steinbach (SPD) surprised the state parliament’s Economic Committee on Wednesday.
Steinbach explained that Tesla had applied to be included in the proceedings. “The court rejected this, pointing out that it did not see this link and therefore did not consider Tesla’s participation to be necessary.” According to Steinbach, the approval process for the Tesla factory is “in the last few meters”.
