Bayraktar TB3 will attend Teknofest 2023!
The TCG Anadolu amphibious assault ship was launched last year. The final assembly processes were also completed recently and the final testing process began. However, due to the US embargo, sales of the F-35 were shelved indefinitely. Turkey also decided to turn TCG Anadolu into a SİHA and helicopter carrier.
Bayraktar TB3, on the other hand, whose development process was shaped in response to this demand, is a version of Bayraktar TB2 with a longer, wider, high and foldable wing structure. Of course, we may see a second fixed-wing version in the future.

Baykar announced today that Bayraktar TB2 was exported to the 28th country with an agreement of 370 million dollars.
Another important innovation brought by Bayraktar TB3 is that it can carry almost twice as much load as Bayraktar TB2 while maintaining its price-performance efficiency. Of course, this also affects the design. But not only ammunition, it will allow the installation of pods according to different missions.
Baykar is in the race with the USA!
Let us state that Baykar is not alone in this area. General Atomics, which developed the MQ-9 Reaper, one of the most famous UAVs of the USA, is also working on the model of the MQ-9 that can take off from ships with a folding wing, short or long runway, as in the TB2-TB3 example. This vehicle will also be named MQ-9B STOL.
Although Baykar introduced the first SİHA specially produced for the folding wing aircraft carrier (ships with runways including amphibians), General Atomics wants to go down in history by making it the first to fly and enter the inventory. But Baykar CTO Selçuk Bayraktar said that they will be the first in the world in every field.
As a matter of fact, Bayraktar TB3 images were officially published today. It was even said that he will take the stage at Teknofest 2023, which will take place on April 27, and will be introduced to the participants. Therefore, it looks like General Atomics will put its name in the 2nd place.
