The company is currently working on a smartphone that can directly compete with the flagship models in the industry. As you may remember, a device with the model number V2154A appeared on the 3C certification site in October. The iQOO Neo 6 has model number V2154A appeared in the Google Play Console database as well as on the 3C certification site. Accordingly, the device will come with an AMOLED panel with a fingerprint reader positioned under the 6.56-inch Full HD + resolution screen.
The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor. Produced with a 5 nm architecture, the chipset includes one 2.84 GHz ARM Cortex-X1 (Kryo 680), three 2.42 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores in addition to the Adreno 660 graphics unit.
On the memory side, the device, which comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, will support 66W fast charging, according to the information revealed in the 3C database. On the other hand, out of the box, Android 11-based OriginOS will run the Ocean UI interface.
While there is a 16 Megapixel selfie camera positioned in the form of a dot on the front, there is a 48 Megapixel Sony IMX598 main camera on the back, as well as two or three sensors whose resolution and type are not yet known.
There is no clear information about the launch date of iQOO Neo 6. However, the allegations are that the smartphone will debut in China in the first half of next year, and then for global markets.
