Berlin The surprise in the coalition was great when Christian Lindner (FDP) recently announced the postponement of the federal budget. Contrary to plan, the new budget will not be in the federal cabinet on June 21. The disputes are too great.

With the budget shift, many other laws are also stuck. The financing of the funding program for the heating law, for example, actually has to be clarified in the budget negotiations. But it’s not just laws related to the budget that are hanging in the air. For example, the adoption of the national security strategy was postponed due to concerns of the FDP.
