Introduced at the I/O 2022 conference in May, Android 13 is now coming to Samsung devices with the stable version. The One UI 5.0 stable version, which came to the Galaxy S22 series in the past days, is gradually being distributed to other models.
One UI 5.0 based on Android 13, now on Galaxy S21 FE
One of the most important names in the Android world, Samsung had tested the Beta versions of One UI 5.0 on many of its devices. The company, which opened with the Galaxy S22 last week, brings the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable version to the Galaxy S21 FE model.
Samsung promised that it will release Android and One UI updates for at least 3 years, and security updates for 5 years, even if it is not in the flagship segment. The company, which has recently revised this decision, announced that it will give at least 4 years of Android and One UI and 5 years of security updates to some upper segment models in order to be a direct competitor to Apple in software support.
